About the Speakers

Guru Sethupathy, PhD, CEO & Co-Founder Of FairNow

Guru Sethupathy has dedicated nearly two decades to understanding the impact of powerful technologies, such as AI, on business value, risks, and the workforce. He has written research papers on bias in algorithmic systems and the implications of AI technology on jobs. At McKinsey, he advised Fortune 100 leaders on harnessing the power of analytics and AI, while managing risks. As a senior executive at Capital One, he built the People Analytics, Technology, and Strategy function, leading both AI innovations as well as AI risk management in HR. Most recently, Guru founded a new venture, FairNow. FairNow’s AI governance software reflects Guru’s commitment to helping organizations maximize the potential of AI while managing risks through good governance. When he’s not thinking about AI governance, you can find him on the tennis court, just narrowly escaping defeat at the hands of his two daughters. Guru has a BS in Computer Science from Stanford and a PhD in Economics from Columbia University.

Andy Riabokin
Senior Solutions Architect, Honeit

From a background in Systems Engineering, Andy embarked on a remarkable 20-year journey as an Executive Recruiter. At the turn of the century, he transitioned to recruiting CIOs for publicly-traded banks and manufacturing giants.

Notably, Andy achieved stellar success at Robert Half, earning the title of #1 Technical Recruiter in 2010 and a trip to “Reach for the Stars.” His expertise was further recognized when he represented HireEZ and secured the esteemed ATC Innovation Award in 2018 in Sydney, Australia. Recently, with Honeit, he was part of the team to win the HR.com “Start-up of the Year” in 2023.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, Andy focuses on designing incredible candidate journeys and delivering ROI back to the business.

About June's Session

Topic: Strategic AI Integration in Talent Acquisition

During April’s iCoCo Speaker Edition, we learned about Kevin Wheeler’s vision of how AI will transform recruitment process outsourcing and talent acquisition over the next decade. AI was a hot topic in Unleash America this year; “from increasing innovation and investment to issues of ethics and trust, speakers across the event covered AI from every angle.”

With the plethora of new AI tools and functionality in the TA tech world, there is a risk of creating a fragmented tech stack that could lead to wormholes in the process for RPO providers and TA leaders. What are the best practices for integrating AI tools into an existing RPO or TA tech stack that improves the recruiting process and stakeholder’s experience?

In this interactive session, Raleen Gagnon of Talent Edge will facilitate a discussion on strategies for effectively integrating AI into talent acquisition or recruitment process outsourcing technology stacks.

The discussion will explore the challenges RPOs and talent leaders face with disparate tools and data, and how to develop a holistic integration strategy. Attendees are encouraged to participate and share their own experiences to help develop best practices guidelines, which will be documented and published by the RPOA.

This session aims to facilitate collaboration for the iCoCo community on developing leadership in this emerging area.
