Director of Talent & Organizational Development at CSX
Nicolette Luckie is the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development for CSX. CSX is a railroad company and one of the nation's leading Freight Transportation Suppliers. CSX runs across about 21,000 miles of track across 23 States serving major markets on the Eastern side of the United States. CSX has just around 20,000 employees, both Union and Management, with about 16,000 Union workers
Nicolette has been with CSX for 13 years and spent just shy of 20 years on the Human Resource side of organizations prior to CSX. She worked in the apparel industry with Russell Athletic.
Nicolette has a responsibility not only for Talent Acquisition but also Talent Management, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Relations functions for both the Union and Management population of the organization.
Some of the key areas CSX are focused on in regards to Talent Acquisition is Workforce planning to ensure that they’re identifying great talent. The organization is a 24-hour operation; Nicolette’s team is looking for talent quickly on both the Management as well as the Union side of the house. She partners closely with their HR business partners to identify what gaps they have in talent and truly need to understand where we can pull from the internal Talent population or where we're going to need to go outside and source strong candidates to come into the organization.
